Transposing chord sheets
The tool recognises chord lines, transposes them and keeps each chord above the right syllable. It works with letter names (C, Am, G7) and solfège (Do, Lam, Sol7), slash chords (D/F♯) and extended chords.
Guitar tabs
In text tabs it moves the frets. If lowering the key would push a note below fret 0, it moves the note to another string on the same beat, and tells you when tuning down would work better.
Capo
It shows which fret to put the capo on so you can play easy shapes in the key you want.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload a PDF?
Yes, if the PDF has selectable text. Scans and photos can't be read yet.
Do the lyrics change?
No, only chords and tabs.
Sharps or flats?
On Automatic it picks what suits the target key, but you can force either.
