What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or pieces of data that a website stores or reads in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others, for example to measure usage, are only used if you give your consent.
What TuttiKit uses
Necessary (no consent required)
- tk_consent · first-party · stores your choice in the cookie banner · 12 months.
- tk_admin · first-party · keeps the admin panel session. Only created for the site administrator, never for visitors · until you close the browser.
- tk_user · first-party · keeps you signed in if you log into your account (for example, to use Premium). Only set if you sign in · 30 days or until you sign out.
- tk.* (browser local storage) · first-party · remembers the settings you pick in the tools (instrument, tuning A, chord notation, last tempo) so you don\'t have to set them again. Never sent to any server · until you delete it.
- tk_rated_* (browser local storage) · first-party · remembers that you have already rated a tool today, so the vote isn\'t repeated · until you delete it.
- tk_h_* (session storage) · first-party · passes your file or text from one tool to the next when you use “Next step” · deleted once used or when you close the tab.
Statistics (only if you accept them)
If you accept “Statistics”, TuttiKit records on its own server which pages are visited, which website you came from, your approximate country (worked out from your browser's time zone), your device and browser type, and anonymous actions inside the tools (for example, which instrument you pick or which format you download).
- No cookies are set for this and your IP address is not stored.
- To count unique visitors, the server computes an anonymous fingerprint from your IP and browser that changes every day; the key used to compute it is deleted daily, so you cannot be re-identified.
- The content of your files and anything you type are never recorded.
- The data is kept for 25 months and is not shared with third parties.
Third parties
TuttiKit currently uses no third-party cookies, external analytics or advertising. If any are added in the future, they will be listed here and will only load if you give your consent.
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, it is treated as a refusal of optional cookies.
